Support Aimee Granados During Her Recovery

Aimee Granados

Aimee Granados

We are asking our community to come together in support of Aimee Granados, a dedicated member of the LVMPD family who has spent the past 10 years serving others in their most critical moments.

Aimee began her career as a 911 call taker, working for 9 years before transitioning to her current role as a Victim Advocate. In both roles, she has been a steady and compassionate presence for people during some of the most difficult times in their lives. She is also a devoted single mother raising two daughters, ages 17 and 12.

Recently, Aimee experienced a sudden and serious medical emergency. After fainting while on a treadmill, she was rushed to the hospital, where she suffered cardiac arrest. Medical staff had to perform CPR and use a defibrillator to revive her. She was then admitted to the ICU, where she underwent extensive testing and treatment.

As part of her recovery, Aimee had an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) placed to help monitor and regulate her heart.

Aimee now faces a difficult recovery. Following her doctor’s recommendations, she will be unable to return to work for approximately two months and will be restricted from driving for six months. This has created both logistical and financial challenges for her and her daughters.

How Your Support Helps

Funds raised through this campaign will help Aimee with:

  • Hospital and ongoing medical expenses
  • Follow-up visits with specialists and continued testing
  • Transportation needs for her and her daughters during her driving restriction
  • Every day living expenses as her available leave is exhausted

Aimee has spent her career helping others through crisis. Now it’s our turn to support her.

Any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference for Aimee and her family during this time.

Please consider donating or sharing her story to help provide the support she needs to focus on healing.
