Stand with Vianey Dailey in Her Fight Against Cancer

Vianey Dailey

For the past six years, Investigative Specialist Vianey Dailey has proudly served the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Throughout her career, she has dedicated herself to supporting investigations and serving our community with professionalism and compassion.

Today, Vianey is facing a challenge she never expected.

She has been diagnosed with Stage 3 pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer (PanNET), a rare form of cancer that has spread to her llymph nodes. While her medical team has developed an aggressive treatment plan, it will require months of specialized care, frequent travel, and significant medical expenses.

Vianey recently began her first monthly treatment injection in Las Vegas. Even with insurance, each treatment carries an out-of-pocket cost of approximately $1,300, with one treatment required every month. Beginning in September, she will travel regularly to UCLA in California for radiation treatments, IV therapies, and ultimately surgery once her doctors have reduced the size of the tumor.

As treatment progresses, the financial burden continues to grow. Beyond medical costs, Vianey and her family face ongoing travel expenses, lodging, meals, transportation, and time away from work while seeking the specialized care she needs.

Like so many members of our law enforcement family, Vianey has spent years serving others. Now, she needs our support.

Behind the Blue is raising funds to help ease the financial burden of her cancer treatment so that she and her family can focus on what matters most—her health and recovery. Every donation will help offset medical expenses, travel to UCLA, lodging during treatment, and other unexpected costs that accompany this difficult diagnosis.

No one should face cancer alone.

Please consider making a donation today and sharing Vianey’s story with others. Together, we can remind her and her family that the Southern Nevada law enforcement community stands beside them every step of the way.

BEHIND THE BLUE IS A 501(C)(3) CHARITABLE NON-PROFIT • DONATIONS MAY BE TAX DEDUCTIBLE
