We are coming together to support Officer Connor Riley, an 11-year veteran of the Clark County School District Police Department, who has spent his career putting others first and now needs his community beside him.
Connor has proudly served as a Patrol Officer and has been deeply involved in programs that protect and uplift children and families. His service includes car seat safety certification events, Shop with a Cop, teaching LEAD and Rocket Rules, and serving as a Field Training Officer. His dedication has been recognized with both a Meritorious Service Award and Officer of the Month, honors that reflect the kind of officer and person he is.
Over the past year and a half, Connor’s life has been dramatically changed by a rare and extremely painful vascular condition called Livedoid Vasculopathy. This disorder causes blood clots in the small vessels of his feet and lower legs, leading to severe, chronic ulcers that are difficult to heal and incredibly painful. As a result, Connor’s mobility and quality of life have been significantly impacted, leaving him unable to work or help at home as he once did.
Connor’s illness has placed an enormous strain on his family. His wife, Amanda, stays home caring for their energetic two-year-old triplets while Connor manages constant pain and ongoing medical treatments. With only one income and mounting medical bills, many of which are denied or not covered by insurance, the family is facing heartbreaking financial decisions just to stay afloat.
This fundraiser will help cover:
- Ongoing medical treatments and uncovered expenses
- Travel and follow-up care with specialists
- Basic living expenses while Connor is unable to work
