Welcome to the Official LVMPD K9 Website

Because LVMPD K-9 teams are called to respond to the most dynamic, dangerous situations, the bond between the police service dog and handler is unshakable. LVMPD K-9 officers typically stay with the same human partner for their career, living together even after retirement. Health care for retired LVMPD K-9’s is provided through the generosity of our community.
