We are raising funds to support 11-year-old Ray Chavez, the brave son of Ana and Robert Chavez, as he battles Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a devastating cancer that affects the blood. Ana, an analyst with the Emergency Management section of the Homeland Security Division, and Robert, a detective in the Force Investigation Team (FIT), have dedicated decades to serving and protecting our community. Now, they need our support as they face this unimaginable challenge.
Just after the holidays, Ray’s parents noticed changes in his energy and coloring and sought medical care, only to receive the worst news any parent could hear. Since his diagnosis, Ray has shown incredible courage and resilience as he begins his journey through treatment. Despite the challenges, his high spirits and unwavering bravery have been a source of strength for his loving parents.
