We are heartbroken to share the unexpected passing of LVMPD Sergeant Justin Williams, who served our department with courage, dedication, and heart since 2011.
Sgt. Williams was born on December 27, 1988. He was a member of the Tactical Operations Section, Safe Neighborhood Bureau, Vice. He was not only known for his sharp instincts and professionalism but also for the kindness and leadership he brought to every assignment. He was deeply respected—and truly beloved—by all who knew him.
Recently, Justin was diagnosed with leukemia. This morning, he was rushed into emergency surgery due to a sudden brain bleed and tragically passed away.
Beyond the badge, Sgt. Williams was a gifted singer with a voice that moved crowds. He proudly sang the national anthem at numerous Las Vegas Aces games, representing his department and his city with pride.
We are raising funds to support Justin’s family during this incredibly difficult time. Your donation will help cover funeral expenses and ease the burden on those grieving the loss of an extraordinary public servant, teammate, and friend.
Please join us in honoring Sgt. Justin Williams’ life and legacy.
