We are coming together to support Andreya Baek, a dedicated Detention Services Technician with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Since joining the department in April 2020, Andreya has served in both the Central Booking Bureau and, more recently, the Alternatives to Incarceration Section within the Civil Constable Bureau, where she continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Andreya’s journey has been marked by incredible strength and determination. She was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018. In 2022, she faced cancer again—this time in her lungs. Now, in 2025, she’s bravely fighting it for the third time as it has returned in her bones.
Despite everything she has been through, Andreya continues to be a reliable and positive member of the team. She’s known for her kind heart, her thoughtful gestures, and her strong commitment to helping others. She shows up every day ready to do what’s needed—not for praise, but because she truly cares.
As her mobility needs have changed, Andreya will now be using a motorized wheelchair—generously donated by the GGRM Law Firm—and will continue to travel to and from work via public transportation, allowing her to continue doing the work she loves.
We are raising funds to help Andreya with the costs of her ongoing treatment, transportation, accessibility needs, and daily expenses. Your support will help ease the burden, allowing her to focus on her health and continue doing what she does best—making a difference.
