Support for Allison Law and her family

Allison and Chris Law

Allison Law is married to Chris Law, who has proudly served our community for over 30 years with the Clark County School District Police Department. Together, they have built a life grounded in service, family, and compassion.

For the past three years, Allison has dedicated her career to the Nevada Donor Network as a Referral Responder, a role she deeply loves for the impact it has on others. Outside of work, Allison and Chris enjoy traveling, family outings, and spending time at home with their grandson, their love and light.

Since August, Allison has faced serious health challenges resulting in three hospitalizations, the most recent lasting nine days while she was on vacation in Reno. She was diagnosed with hyperbilirubinemia and transaminitis, meaning her liver became severely inflamed and damaged. While doctors continue to determine the underlying cause, her treatment has included multiple procedures, IV fluids, pain management, and efforts to keep her body’s electrolytes balanced.

These hospitalizations have caused missed work and unexpected travel expenses, including flights during her most recent stay in Reno. While insurance is expected to cover most medical costs, the additional travel expenses and lost income have placed a financial strain on the Law family.

Allison will continue to have follow-up appointments in Reno as her care team monitors her recovery.

Behind the Blue is asking our community to come together in support of the Law family during this difficult time. Your donations will help offset travel, lodging, and lost income expenses as Allison continues her journey toward recovery.

Every dollar makes a difference in helping one of our own get back on her feet.
