We are coming together to support Sarah Osburn and her family as they face an incredibly difficult medical journey. Sarah is the wife of LVMPD Deputy Sheriff Jamie Osburn, who serves in the Sheriff’s Civil Unit. In 2023, Sarah was diagnosed with a large pituitary macroadenoma—a rare, aggressive, and complex brain tumor that has continued to grow and is now threatening her vision.
Since her diagnosis, Sarah has undergone two major brain surgeries—the first in January 2024 and the second in November 2024. Unfortunately, the tumor’s location makes complete removal unsafe, and more surgeries are expected. Sarah will also need six weeks of proton therapy radiation in hopes of stopping the tumor’s growth.
Throughout it all, Sarah has shown incredible strength. She is a State of Nevada employee who has exhausted all of her leave time, and she continues to fight while raising a beautiful family with Jamie. Together, they are the proud parents of four daughters: a 19-year-old and 17-year-old attending Nevada State University, a 15-year-old heading into 10th grade, and an 8-year-old beginning 3rd grade.
This fundraiser will help ease the financial burden of medical expenses, travel for treatment in Arizona, and the daily needs of a family facing extraordinary circumstances. Your generosity will give the Osburns the support they need to focus on healing and staying strong for each other.
Please consider donating to help Sarah and the Osburn family during this incredibly challenging time.
Thank you for your compassion, support, and generosity.
