Behind the Blue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is dedicated to providing relief to Southern Nevada law enforcement personnel and their families in times of crisis. Our nonprofit offers vital support when it is needed most.
We are honored to partner with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s (LVMPD) Wellness Bureau, joining forces to tackle mental health stigma and provide essential resources through funding. The LVMPD Wellness Bureau has expanded its services by employing professional clinicians who are available to all employees, emphasizing the importance of mental health and wellness.
Mental health and wellness have often been overlooked in the past decades, but we are in a new era where raising awareness and showing support for our peace officers’ well-being has become a top priority. Together, we aim to bring peace to our peace officers, ensuring they receive the care and support they need to maintain their health and continue serving our community effectively.
